PRSSA National Conference Meeting Today!

Please attend today's meeting if you are attending the PRSSA National Conference this weekend. This meeting is mandatory for conference attendees. Meetings are held in DBH 117 at 6pm.

We have secured a tour to visit eBay and Imperva on Friday, November 15 in San José and Redwood City.
If you would like to attend, please fill out this form by Friday, November 8. This is on a first come first serve basis for official PRSSA members. Dues can be paid to chapter Treasurer Gabi Avella at PRSSA meetings.

The tour will begin at 9:00 a.m. at eBay. We will then head to Imperva at 11:30 a.m., where lunch will be provided!

On-Campus Job Opportunity: International Experience Student Assistant 

College of Health and Human Sciences is currently hiring a Student Assistant to help with the International Experience program. Duties include: creating content for CHHS International Experience website including photos, text and graphic elements, designing flyers, signs, and invitations using Adobe Suite or Canva, and managing the International Experience Mailbox and social media accounts including Facebook, Instagram, etc. Past study abroad experience is required.

Internship Opportunity: CookIt Media

CookIt Media is searching for an Influencer Marketing Intern who can work remotely and is passionate about the field of influencer marketing. This is a part-time paid internship with the potential for full-time for the right candidate.

You must be: motivated, self-sufficient, detail-oriented, organized and trustworthy, have a love for all things food and cooking, team player, creative and analytical thinker, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications: 
  • 1-year experience in marketing field (agency experience preferred)
  • In-depth knowledge of social media marketing industry
  • Strong interest in the influencer landscape, especially food and food lifestyle
  • Interest in brand strategy and content creation
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Google Analytics and Hubspot a plus

Career & Professional Workshop with the LaGrant Foundation

The LAGRANT Foundation (TLF) is co-hosting a Career Development & Professional Workshop on Friday, October 25th from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. The workshop will be led by global communications and integrated marketing agency WE Communications in its office in San Francisco. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about career and internship opportunities, participate in a Q&A panel with the WE team, and get a one-on-one resume review with a WE professional. Lunch is also included.
