First Aid at Work
This three day Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (OFQUAL) is designed for learners intending to act as a First Aider in the workplace. This qualification will provide all the required first aid skills necessary to manage a patient that is not breathing normally, is unconscious, bleeding or is ill or injured prior to the arrival of the emergency services. The qualification is designed to provide the First Aider with skills necessary to give effective basic life support, diagnose and treat minor and manage major injuries or illness keeping the patient alive until the emergency services arrive.

First Aid at Work (Requalification)
A First Aid at Work certificate must be renewed every three years by undertaking a two day re-qualification course. The course enables you to update your skills and knowledge learned as part of your First Aid at Work Certificate.
You can attend a re-qualification course up to three months before the expiry date of your certificate. If your certificate does expire you have 28 days after expiry to take the course. If your certificate is more than 28 days out of date you will need to complete a three day First Aid at Work course again.
