Hello, friends!

With Halloween coming up soon and so many of us on the hunt for good costume ideas, I thought it'd be fun to have a little Instagram photo challenge! My patterns make great templates for costumes, whether that be for Halloween, book character days, or theme parties, and it's always so fun to see how creatively you use my patterns for costumes each year.

With that in mind, I want to invite you to post (or repost) the past and/or present costume creations you've made with my patterns on Instagram using the hashtag #mbrcostume, so we can all get inspired by your fun, adorable and/or amusing costume concepts. You'll have a chance to win a $30 gift certificate to the Made by Rae pattern shop (more details below)!

Contest guidelines:
Photos must be public, yours, and have a post date between October 15 and Friday, November 1, 2019 and include the tag #mbrcostume in the description to be eligible to win. You may enter up to 10 different costumes, each post counts as one entry, no repeat costumes please. Photos may be new or reposted. Made by Rae reserves the right to eliminate any entry that it deems inappropriate. Void where prohibited. You must be 18 years old or above and have an email address to enter. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram.

Winner(s) will be randomly selected on Monday, 11/4/2019 and contacted via Instagram DM or email to receive a $30 gift card to the Made By Rae pattern shop. Prize may not be exchanged for cash.

Here are a few fun costumes that I love! The Geranium Dress, Flashback Tee, and Parsley Pants are all versatile patterns that lend themselves to costume design!

Remember that you don't need to create a new costume for this challenge -- if you have MBR pattern-inspired costumes from years past, just make sure you repost them so they show up in the top of your feed.
