Global Research Institute's Annual Shark Tank Pitch Competition
Each year students have the opportunity to partner with other students, faculty, staff, and alums to share their ideas and win up to $25,000 to make them a reality. Past examples of student projects include the tracking of Chinese investments and a survey of agriculture microinsurance in Kenya. Shark Tank has enabled students to learn how to identify problems, translate ideas to a policymaker audience, and test their ideas through the appropriate methods.
To learn about Shark Tank, the application process, or hear from former competitors, attend one of our information sessions:
- Tuesday, Nov. 5 @ 5:00pm in Tyler Hall Room 132
- Wednesday, Nov. 13 @ 5:00pm in Tyler Hall Room 132
Applications to enter are due by Friday, December 6th at Midnight. Apply here!
