Mrs. Reinhart's 3rd graders have recently learned how the Romans believe their civilization was founded through the story of Romulus and Remus. Students are also learning about the Roman Gods. They will continue to learn about daily life and government as well as the contributions made by the Romans that we still use today, such as roads, architecture and art.
The rain didn't stop the Ivywood Classical Academy students from having fun on Ivywood's first all-school field trip. The morning was full of activities; hayrides, apple picking, corn maze and of course, donuts and cider! Fun was had by all the students, teachers and chaperones at Erwin's Cider Mill. Thank you to all our chaperones who came and helped make this a fantastic field trip.
Laura Steffes is our speech pathologist at Ivywood. She has over twenty years of experience in a variety of settings including schools, private practice and rehabilitation clinics. We are so grateful for her expertise and the impact she has on our students.
