FALL DANCE FRIDAY NOV. 1

Our first school dance will be on Friday, Nov. 1st from 1:30 - 3pm in the gym. The cost to get in is canned or dry foods, 4 CMS bucks (students can earn CMS bucks by exhibiting CMS Values - Being compassionate, mindful, and safe.) or $1 cash. Snacks will be provided. Dance expectations:

  • The dance will begin at 1:30pm. All students must be inside, or in line by 1:45pm in order to participate. No entry after 1:45pm.
  • There will be no In/ Out privileges, so once students come in to the dance, they are expected to stay until the dance is over or they are ready to leave.
  • We expect all students to follow the CMS values, or they will be asked to leave.

Parents, how can you help? Mrs. Anderson is looking for a couple of parents to help with a backpack check-in station, and cleaning up. Please email Mrs. Anderson or call 510-654-7337x5007 if you can help, or have any questions. All canned & dry food collected will be donated to families in need.

LOVE TO SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES?

Looking for a way to help our school? You can do both by visiting Mrs. Dalloway’s Bookstore! From Nov. 9 - 11, 17% of pre-tax sales made by the Claremont community will be donated back to Claremont Middle School. This applies to all sales, including books, merchandise, gift certificates, and online purchases!

While you’re there, look for the "Claremont Library" bookshelf, which will display books from our library's wish list. Any books purchased from the Claremont Library bookshelf will be donated directly to the library.

If you can’t make it into the store, or have out-of-town relatives and friends that want to support Claremont, you can also support the school by visiting the book store’s website

Just save your receipts — or print out the order confirmation, if ordering online — and return them to the main office no later than Friday, 11/15. Thank you!

CLAREMONT CROSS COUNTRY

The Claremont Cross Country team wrapped up its season with a race at Stanley Middle School in Lafayette last week. It was a great way to close out the season with many great performances by our runners. Cross-country is a tough sport and we are very proud of the grit shown by our gutsy Knights this fall. Hopefully we will see you all in the spring for Track!
