Downhill Ski Club AGM 24 November 2019

After an absolutely fantastic Labour Weekend another season has come to an end.

We have set the date for our 2019 AGM. It will be held on Sunday 24th November at 4pm at 15 Bell Road, Remuera. The agenda will be published no later than 10 November and items for the agenda can be provided up until then to secretary@skiclub.org.nz.
The AGM will be followed by a BBQ. We will supply the meat, but please bring a plate to share and drinks.

2020 Committee
Would you like to be more involved in the decisions about the club? Do you have ideas on how to keep our club up and running for the future? Do you like wine and cheese and good company?
Join the committee for 2020!
Some of the current committee members are prepared to continue their work, but we could use a few more people and we invite nominations. If you are interested or would like to know more about what is involved please contact secretary@skiclub.org.nz or any of the current committee members.

If you haven't quite had enough of the ski season, there's good news: RAL will operate the Valley T-bar on weekends throughout November.

We have had intermittent problems with website access lately, that we are looking into, but in the meantime if you have any issues while trying to make a booking, please just contact Christine directly at: fitz@iol.co.nz. She is looking after the bookings while Steve is away.

Another note regarding the National Park lodge: An electrical timer will be installed to control electricity use at peak times of day, so that hot water, heaters, cooking and drying room use are staggered, which will help us to save power and reduce the bills.

We will also have another firewood working bee later this year – look out for a notice from Ross.
