Thanks to all of you that have decided to participate in this year’s conferece, Monorailex 2019, in Chiba, Japan.  As there have been numerous questions in the last few days as to how to register for the conference, become a sponsor, register in a hotel, and the Optional Technical Tour, we have prepared this email to help with the last minute preparations.

Please let us know if you plan to attend the Optional Technical tour; we need to close the roster by November 1, 2019.
 
 Notes:
  1. The conference takes place from Sunday November 24 to Wednesday, November 27 and includes a visit to Chiba Monorail and Mass Trans Innovation Japan 2019. Registration to the event does not include hotel, thus we provide the link for the hotel where the event takes place.
  2. The optional Technical Tour will allow participants to visit some of Japan’s most iconic Monorails and historical locations (Tokyo Monorail, Tama Toshi Monorail, Maglev Exhibition, Osaka Monorail, concluding at Peace Memorial in Hiroshima).  The tour will not only provide interesting and educational visits but will also provide an opportunity to connect with other professionals in our industry.  The tour organized by Eighty Days Japan, from November 27 – 30) is all inclusive and costs $1500 USD per person.  The cost includes train and bus tickets, hotel accommodations, meals, and monorail rides.  You can review the schedule of the Optional Technical Tour by visiting our website at www.monorailex2019.org.
