Dear ladies,

Next Monday we welcome a speaker to help us explain the different entities in Switzerland and what it all entails to start one up! Are you thinking about setting something up but don’t know where to start? We had a great recommendation about this speaker and the work they do at the IFJ (Institut für Jungunternehmen) and therefore very happy to have him share his knowledge with us!

In November we have several Partner Events, which are events listed below that one of our committee members recommends. Our Job Hunt Support Group meets on Friday November 1st and 15th and we close the month with a very 'hands on' Women Entrepreneur event for you, Build your value: Brick by brick!

Best Regards,

Jutta & Aletta

You are an entrepreneur and in the process to start your own business in Switzerland or thinking about it?

You already have the most important thing for your own enterprise: Your idea! And now? How to proceed and what entrepreneurial elements to consider in order to make your dream come true?

Join us on 28th October to meet the start-up expert, Georg Mitahsch from IFJ (Institut für Jungunternehmen):
You will learn how to transform your idea into a company. You will learn how to save time and money during the incorporation process and in the end have a good understanding about the 3 major legal entities in Switzerland, their differences, advantages and disadvantages.

Partner Events

2 & 3 November - Basel Hackaton, where everyone can bring an idea, there is no specific common topic. In the beginning of the hackathon there is a quick team building phase where everyone pitches - a 1 min pitch - their idea to find other people interested in working together on that idea. more info here

12 November - Introductory Intuition evening workshop led by Charlotte Frederiksen, executive coach specialised in Intuition development. This workshop is an occasion for people to understand better their intuitive capacities to make decisions, perceive situations, and communicate better. More information in this video. Please, contact Charlotte for details and registration.

16 November - A warm invitation to the Exhibit ‘Black and White’ in cooperation with a Millennial and a GenZ: painter Siorin and graphic designer Paula. Where they display their art, but mainly their passion for faces, and nature. more info here

Nearly all of us interact with internal or external customers, even during job interviews, where speaking about our strengths is key!

And yes, we know, it can be challenging to “nail it down”, especially as our activities, planning and success depend upon it!

In this interactive workshop, facilitated by Judit Csapo – Karovits, you’ll learn how “hand thinking” works; how your hands can help you reveal new insights about who you are and what you do, through some simple lego modelling.

Usually we think, maybe discuss and then create speeches, graphics or charts in 2D.  This time, you will be modelling in 3D to enable a deeper experience of the power of your hands, your subconscious and your creativity to gain clarity and focus on what matters most in your value proposal.
