Baton Rouge's sweetest fall festival is finally upon us (and we could use a few more volunteers)! This Sunday afternoon, plan on coming to St. Luke's Spooktacular starting at 3:30 pm in Pope Hall. There, you'll be treated to visual and performing arts from our school community! The fun continues with carnival games and trunk-or-treat in the church parking lot from 4 pm until 6 pm. Gather your family and friends, dress in favorite costumes, and come out to St. Luke's for family fun!
Announcements
Evening Service Canceled
Since St. Luke's will be abuzz with Spooktacular activities, the 5:30 pm service this Sunday is canceled.

Please submit the names of deceased loved ones to be honored and read aloud during the All Saints Sunday services by Tuesday, October 29. An online submission form is available HERE, or find forms in the church foyer this Sunday. Thank you!
Oct. 30: Medicare Advising
The annual enrollment period for Medicare is now until December 7. Our own Kendall Daigle is offering a presentation at St. Luke's for those who might want to add or change their plans. Kendall is licensed and experienced in the insurance industry. Her presentation in the Church Library will be strictly educational, certainly not a sales event, and we hope many of you can take advantage of her expertise. Please bring a friend who might be interested in this information. Free and open to all. 7 pm on October 30.
Nov. 1: Bayou Bash
Our school's annual Bayou Bash is a treasured tradition, and the whole St. Luke's community is invited! Look forward to games, a rock climbing wall, "toddler park," face painting, a book and cake walk, and a BRPD k9 demonstration. Go enjoy it! $15 admission. 3:30 pm-6:30 pm.
Vestry Nominations Now Open
Now is the time to nominate someone to serve on our Vestry! Keeping the St. Luke's mission in mind, Vestry members work together for the greater good of our church: its programming, facilities, fiscal health, and spiritual life. Forms are available are in the church foyer, or you can download/print one HERE. The deadline for nominations is November 11. Questions? Contact Owen Cope: otcope@gmail.com.
