Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, Be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen. Jude 24-25.

Dear friends,
I trust that all is well in the Lord. In my last update, I mentioned that I would be joining another work in Guinea called the Konyagi. In the month of September, I flew back to Senegal from Guinea and then I was able to drive down to the South of Senegal with another missionary who works down there. From there I got a motorcycle to take me across the border back into Guinea and then my new-coworkers were able to meet me out there and we drove back into their village. I have been privileged to visit many villages and works in different countries, but I was surprised when we got out to my village. Normally houses are in clusters and in one general area, but things seemed to be quite spread apart in this village. There would be a few huts and then some fields followed by more huts. It was a pleasant surprise. I only visited for one week and during that time our field leadership came, and we had meetings about how it would be best for me to enter the village officially. We were able to have a meeting with the village elders and they were very accepting of me coming to live in the village. We are also planning for me to move into the empty house built by some of the missionaries that left the team. The house just needs a few repairs like fixing the cesspit that is over overflowing and the water pressure.

While visiting, I became more aware of myself feeling quite overwhelmed by all the activity from last year into this year including lots of travel and now transitioning into a new place. I decided that it would be best to take a break before becoming fully engaged in a new work and learning a new language. So, I have taken a 3-month break (October-December) and I will be in both the US and Trinidad.

Please pray that I would get much-needed rest and recuperation.

In addition, there are some major needs that you can consider supporting before I return to Africa.

Solar Equipment - This includes solar panels, batteries, Inverter, Charger controller and a solar freezer and will cost 4,800 USD. A former missionary is willing to sell me these items for this reduced cost and it is already in the village. There is no electricity in the village, and this will be my only source of electricity.

A solar fridge 1200 USD

Pump with a Pressure tank (for the well) - 160 USD

The second major need is a personal vehicle built for off road driving. Either a Land Cruiser or Pick up and will cost approximately 40,000 USD. This does not include shipping and taxes if imported.

More over, I invite you to consider becoming a monthly supporter. For the last two years I have seen a substantial decrease in my monthly support. Join me in prayer as we trust God to raise up new supporters.

All contributions can be mailed to Ethnos360, 312 W. 1st St., Sanford, FL 32771.
To give by check or money order, make it payable to Ethnos360 and include a note with my name. Also make an additional note if your gift is specifically for the vehicle.
