REAPING AND SOWING

Galatians 6:8,9

"9 And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. 10 So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith."

Friends who are working for economic justice have recently asked if what we are doing is really helping and when will we see the results. It is a question that we find ourselves wrestling with particularly in the early days of Izenzo.

Paul, as above, encourages us not to grow weary but to continue being faithful in the work we do and to take every opportunity to do good whenever we can.

Today we will be sharing testimonies of reaping that we have experienced recently. These aren’t overnight successes. These are the fruits of labouring faithfully in partnership with many of you reading this and a number of organisations. We hope these stories encourage and strengthen you to keep going

PRAYER FOR OCTOBER

We believe that prayer is vital for the mission and we would like for you to pray for us over the next month.

I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and

thanksgivings be made for all people— 2 for kings and all those

in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all

godliness and holiness.3 This is good, and pleases God our

Savior, 4 who wants all people to be saved and to come to a

knowledge of the truth.

1 Timothy 2: 1-4
