Happy, Awesome Autumn!

Wherever you are on the globe, I hope this note finds you well and enjoying the crisp cool air and boundless colors of the harvest season!
Here in Croy, I'm daily amazed by the glorious views of the Campsies, beautiful sunrise and sunsets, plus hiking trails leading to ancient Roman forts just a wee walk away. And even in the cool, shadowy mist and rain, Scotland continues to take my breath away! I've been told that's what happens after 50, but no worries, I am quite determined to continue exploring every chance I get!
It's been a busy time, impromptu concerts, gown designing and a wonderful visit from Roddy's lovely Mum, Joanne and brother Scott. This was their very first trip to Scotland, seeing sights like Culcreuch and Doune Castles, the Quiraing, downtown Kirky, Scottish Opera, savoring local fare from Portree, (World's best fish and chips!), multiple tea parties, then storming the gates of the MacLeod stronghold, Dunvegan Castle! It was an amazing time for everyone, especially emotional at the Quirang in the golden hues of sunset. And what a joy to reconnect with dear friends, Morag, Graham, Eric n Sheila, then take a late night run scouting jumper cables with Kevin & Leonia from Germany. Here's a wee look back in photos...

What's On!
If you're in Shettleston this Wednesday evening, Roddy and I will be presenting our epic adventures in Kenya. This includes extraordinary photographs of the dear people we met in Samburu and all along the way, with stories of unbelievable rescues from certain death, as well as divine intervention in perilous situations. Honestly, we should be dead 1000 times over, but we serve a mighty God, who gets His work done despite our frailties. So, come along, whether you believe in Him or not, and you may come away with new perspective on the spiritual realm. Interesting timing, don't ye think?
These dear people touch your heart and soul in unforgettable ways. so come get to know a few of them.
Plus, I'll be singing songs inspired by and recorded in the bush country of Samburu.

Incidentally, November 2nd is our 3rd anniversary of arriving in Scotland! So much has happened since then, it would take a novel, or two, to describe it all, but Roddy and I are both so very thankful for your love, kindness, thoughts and prayers.

As time allows, my YouTube channel, ConnieMacLeodMusic. is being updated, and "Every Time it Rains" is still in production. But it's looking like it will be postponed till sometime in the new year. Sorry about the wait and sincere apologies for the weird link in my last email. My next adventure is getting my Martin guitar spruced up, not as in replacing the wood with spruce, but making a few adjustments to make her sound better than brand new again.
