For anyone that preordered state championship clothing, Keri Roth will have it with her at the competition tomorrow at Sparta. If you want to meet up with her to pick it up, please call or text her at 616-446-9055.

If you can’t pick it up from her tomorrow, please contact Sue in the band office at svandenberge@josonline.org to schedule a time to pick it up.

Parking may be challenging since the Flight IV and I spectators will likely to have not cleaned out before you will want to arrive. Please give yourself extra time in case you need to walk a ways to get to the stadium. Consider carpooling with other band families as there is limited parking available.

The kids will have time to go to concessions, so they may need $$.

We're looking for volunteers to help with uniform inspections before the State Competition at Ford Field.

Volunteers DO NOT need experience! Students arrive at school in their full uniform. Our volunteers, using a checklist, will check each student to (1) insure they have all the parts to their uniform, (2) that the uniform, including the collar, is clean, (3) that the pants and sleeves are the proper length and (4) that shoes are polished. It's a simple and straight-forward process, however, it runs smoothest with many volunteers.

When the marching bands head out of town for our Regional, State and National competitions plenty of snacks and drinks are needed to keep the hungries at bay and for staying hydrated. We'd appreciate your donations of these items!
