It was a pleasure to meet many of you at the Canadian Conference on Global Health (CCGH) in Ottawa last week.  The CNNTD presented two sessions during the conference:
  • A symposium entitled “Ensuring governance in public-private partnership through the power of collaboration: A case study on deworming.”
  • A learning event highlighting issues related to female genital schistosomiasis.
Both sessions inspired thought-provoking questions and lively discussion.  We were grateful that Dr. Pamela Mbabazi, Medical Epidemiologist at the World Health Organization, was able to participate as a speaker in both presentations.

CNNTD also presented an interactive workshop on NTDs at the Global Health Students and Young Professionals Summit (GHSYPS) on 20 October.  It was terrific to see the engagement and interest of the young people who attended!
