Jambo, Rafiki ya Rudi!*
The Lord God has been on our side again this year. Thanks to you partnership, the 2018-2019 school year was a success. Although we faced several challenges and even lost some students due to the dire life condition amongst the community we serve, we do have some great news to share!

Following is a summary of last year and how you can join us to make a difference again this year.
|
|
Rudi Education was comprised 95 students across 6 different schools last year. 79 students passed their classes, 11 students missed the mark, but are are now in our "At Risk" monitored student category as they repeat their respective classes. 5 students abandoned for various reasons notwithstanding our efforts to keep them in school and in the Education program.

"At Risk" Students Improved and Passed Their Classes!
|
|
|
One of the greatest news we have today is that all but one of the 2018 "at risk" students passed their classes! Praise the Lord God. If you have ever visited the community these children live in, you do understand why it is vital that these children stay and make progress in school. Keeping these children in school means they are not in the streets, prey to armed groups recruiting or abduction to name just a few of the dangers they would be exposed to.

So, thank you for believing in them and giving them a second chance by providing them the tuition and school supplies they needed even as they had to repeat the grade.

Send A Child To School
The school year has already started in the Democratic Republic of Congo, but we are only half way through meeting our goal for funds to send 90 children to school this year. STAR STUDENT: Moise. Our start student this year scored the highest of all the 95 students in Rudi Education. Moise's 82.10% grade is a tremendous achievement especially considering that Moses lost his Mom to sickness this year. Moses remains a great motivation for all of us to continue to support students like him. Will you keep praying for him this year also?

We Remodeled A School!
Last year we asked you to pray for a school reconstruction project. Well, the Lord God has answered! Through your contributions and our partnership with Linked Through Love Foundation, the school is now renovated and receiving a final finish touch. The students are already using the classrooms! Thank you for praying!
We do still have some needs to furnish the school's administration office and provide basic didactic material to enhance the learning experience for the children at this school. So, please let us know if you can help or want to learn more about this project.
