Live Nativity | Volunteer Sign Up Starts Sunday!
The Live Nativity is just six weeks away! It takes place on December 7. It's our free gift to the community every Christmas season. The Live Nativity is a beautiful way to remember the reason we celebrate Christmas.
It takes 100+ volunteers to bring the nativity to life! There are many roles to fill and everyone can get involved. Stop by the table this Sunday morning to learn more and sign up!
Valley Brook Grounds - Fall Clean-Up
As leaves begin to fall, we organize volunteers weekly to help rake, blow and remove leaves from our campus grounds. Volunteers may also help pick up and remove small branches and any other general grounds clean up. We welcome volunteers on one or multiple days.
Men's Retreat in the Berkshires!
November 8-9, Monterey MA Cost: $100 (includes Saturday meals, all activities)
Guys, it's just a couple of weeks away! We're headed to Hume New England, located in the beautiful Berkshires!
Rest, relax and connect with other guys from Valley Brook and Faith Baptist Church in Southington. You'll enjoy a guest speaker, worship, great food, bonfire, assorted activities, and an amazing mountain view.
Clothes Closet | November 9 9:00am - 2:00PM, Valley Brook Cafe
The Clothes Closet offers free, gently used clothing, shoe, and accessories for men, women, and children at no cost. The purpose is to help people in the community who have limited resources to purchase clothing or who have suffered a major loss and are in need. Volunteers will be ready to help find sizes, styles, colors, etc.
Donations:
The Clothes Closet is made possible through the generous donations of many individuals and families in our Valley Brook community and the communities at large. We accept gently used clothing and accessory donations year-round. You can place donations in the outdoor collection bin located on the South side of our main building.
