It has been 6 months since we received our 501(c)(3) status from IRS, and we are happy to report that we have been able to make good progress thanks to your support.

As you know, our mission is to provide a launchpad for orphaned and vulnerable youth who are forced to age out of Child Care Institutions (CCIs) at the age of 18. They face a lifetime of poverty due to lack of employable skills, and our goal is to help them build an empowered life of dignity and purpose.

We signed an MoU with our Indian NGO partner Catalysts for Social Action in June 2019 to enroll 135 youth into our program in the first year. Thanks to your generous support, we have raised the $70,000 required to achieve this!

1-2 years: Paramedics, Graphic Design, Nursing

3 years: Engineering, Social Work

We have much to learn as we grow this program, such as

• how to scale the outreach to enroll and help these kids who are housed in 10,000 CCIs across India
• how to streamline the career counseling process to maximize local opportunities and earning potential
• what are other critical life skills that need to be taught.
