This Month on Live Culture I have conversations with two movers and shakers in the local cultural scene.
Firstly I talk with Fernando Pinto, to discuss his forthcoming Harvest Feast- A Benefit for IRIS. This will take place Nov 24, 7pm at Mactivity, 285 Nicholl Street, New Haven and features an evening of Music, Art, Poetry and Comedy with the proceeds going to IRIS which helps refugees and other displaced peoples establish new lives and regain hope.Tickets are $20.
Fernando is in the planning stages and is looking for interested performing artists to be considered. Fernando is responsible for the wealth of creative musical talent appearing in concert at Mactivity, and also books an impressive range of acts at Cafe 9, also in New Haven.
