1. Updates

Hello urbanists!

We've nothing too earth-shaking to update you about this week. However, our latest job positions of Partnerships Development Associate and South Asia Associate will only be open to applications for a few more days, so get yours in while you still can! In this issue, we're bringing you news on the architecture of creepiness, events on Designing the Future, opportunities to submit papers on food systems, cycling, water, and climate resilience... and much more.

But first...
We've shared a lot of urban news with you in the history of this newsletter, but it is often the biggest stories which dominate . The Urban Activist provides a platform to raise awareness about local people from all over the world whose actions help to shape better cities. To start you off, check out how street artists spearheaded a cultural transition in Muscat, as told by Susana F. Molina.
