Madison Dems November Monthly Newsletter

Dear <<First Name>>,

Gov. Murphy Coming to Madison to Spur Voter Turnout

Madison is bringing out the big gun this Super Saturday, Nov. 2, as Gov. Phil Murphy joins us as we knock on doors and remind friendly supporters to vote. We'll also blitz the train station and around town Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 4-5, with a final call to vote, though it will be without the governor (sigh). Sign up here to volunteer.

So Don’t Forget to Vote Tuesday, Nov. 5 – a.k.a., Election Day!

We’ve made the case so be sure to come out and vote Tuesday – and vote for our entire stellar slate of Democratic candidates! This is pure grassroots democracy, where we the people elect our local, county and legislative representatives.

Our slate of candidates – be sure to vote for all of them:
  • Mayor: Robert Conley
  • Council (vote for 2): Maureen Byrne, Rachel Ehrlich
  • General Assembly (vote for 2): Mila Jasey and John McKeon
  • Freeholder (vote for 3): Cary Amaro, Cara Parmigiani, David Timpanaro
  • Sheriff: William Schievella
  • Surrogate:  Michael Thompson
Get a Mail-in Ballot? It’s not too Late to Get it Mailed!

If you or a family member received a mail-in ballot and still have it, you still have time – but not much. Completed mail-in ballots must be postmarked by Election Day, Nov. 5. Or you can hand in any completed ballots on or before that day to the Morris County Clerk’s Office at 10 Court Street, Administration & Records Building, 1st Floor, Morristown.

Please note: If you received a mail-in ballot but go to your voting location instead to vote, you will only be allowed to complete a provisional ballot.

Need a Lift to Vote? Drivers are Sitting By

A pool of drivers is available for anyone needing a ride to the polls on Election Day. To schedule a ride, just email the following info to Dave Luber at davlub@optonline.net: your name, address, email address, phone number (preferably cell), polling location and pick-up time.

Track the Returns and Party with us on Election Night

We welcome you to come party with our party and watch the returns with us on Election Night. We’ll be toasting (or cursing … or maybe both) the returns from 7:30 to 10 p.m. at the Madison Commons club house, right next to the pool – it’s just off East Common Road. We’ll serve light refreshments and drinks with a mix of Madison fellowship.

Lastly, Volunteers, Thank You!

None of all this thing called democracy could happen without our many volunteers putting in countless hours and endless efforts. To each of you, we say thanks!

After all, this is what democracy looks like.
