Adult Discipleship Opportunity:  Sunday morning Pastor Deb continues our study of the book of Acts using the book called, “We Are the Church…Let’s Act Like It.” Let’s explore together what’s possible for WRPC when we partner with God’s Holy Spirit! 2019 Navajo Work Weekend:  The date for our 11th Navajo Work Weekend with House of Fellowship is set for NEXT WEEKEND November 2-3. Praise God! Please mark your calendars! This is a testimony to the perseverance of both churches and God's faithfulness. We will be sharing more information soon.
 
Operation Christmas Child Boxes are Here.
Have you purchased items for your Operation Christmas Child gift box yet? Look for the display and boxes in the foyer. By packing a shoebox full of simple gifts and sending it off with prayer, you can be a part of transforming entire families and communities around the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. National Collection Week will be November 18–25th, 2019. La Jicarita Gathering: Takes place at Smith Memorial, Truchas on Saturday, Nov. 9th at 10:30 – 2:00. More information.
 
Church Office:  The Church is delighted to announce that James Ro is the new WRPC office administrator! James’ hours in the office will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Tuesdays through Thursdays.
“Office Hours”:  Pastor Deb will be away this week and will not have Office hours.  Regular “Office Hours” are on Tuesday mornings, from 7:30 – 10:30 a.m. at the Pig + Fig, and also on Thursday evenings from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m., for anyone who would like to chat. Coffee and pastries are her treat! She is also available to meet with you, Mon.-Thurs. Call 695-6423 or email (pastor@wrpchurch.com) for an appointment
 
Glory to God:  We have introduced a new worship resource – the Glory to God hymnal. This new hymnal and service book is packed with both old and new hymns, and new service music -- ENJOY

Christmas Caroling at the Prison:  A group from local churches is looking for the person(s) God is calling to help provide the joy of Jesus through Christmas Caroling at the Prison in Santa Fe on Thursday, December 5, 6-8pm. To sign up, call Lucille Bonner at 505-672-3864, right away!
 
“Journeys in Faith”:  Our WRPC Science and Faith Dialogue meets on Thursday evenings at 7:00 p.m. at the Reinovskys’. We are studying Alister McGrath’s book “Enriching our Vision of Reality.” Contact Selma or Bob Reinovsky for information

The Weekly Prayer Gathering meets on Monday evenings at 7:00 p.m. at Aspen Ridge. Please call Jennifer Holmes for specific location information. Everyone is welcome!  Prayer Requests

Prayer Cards:  Prayer cards are in the chair pockets. Please drop your requests in the offering plate - they will be delivered to the Prayer Team; or send to Prayer@wrpchurch.com.
Praying for neighbors in White Rock:  Pastor Deb invites anyone to join her in a prayer walk each Wednesday morning at 8:00 a.m. We meet at WRPC and go as the Spirit leads.
 
Café Justo: 1lb bags are available in the hallway to purchase for $13. Please pray for Café Justo growers, Juan Perez and Christina Perez, and for the work of Frontera de Cristo, the Presbyterian Border Ministry that supports Café Justo.

AED Available:  
We have recently installed an Automated External Defibrillator near the kitchen entrance. An AED is a rescue device to aid in a cardiac emergency. 
Invitation to Serve in Worship Leadership:
  The Worship Ministry Team is always happy to offer an opportunity for members and friends to participate in worship leadership, such as by filling the Liturgist role. Contact Joyce, Selma or Bob if you would like to share your gift of leadership.
First Sunday/Food Sunday for LA Cares 
On the first Sunday of each month, please bring food and other donations for LA Cares. Thank you for helping neighbors in need!
Out-to-Lunch Bunch: 
The “Out-to-Lunch Bunch” goes out the first Sunday of each month following Adult Discipleship. Everyone is invited!
