Dear <<First Name>>,
It is almost the end of October and I want this to remind you that God is doing something great and wonderful. During this time of year, we embrace harvest or new things, but we must recognize the end of things.
We must recognize when the season for the use of certain things, situations and people are over even if they were beneficial to us in a previous season. This is not to say that these things, people are situation are inherently evil or wrong, but they are no longer suitable for the season that you are currently in.
When the weather gets cold in Louisiana we know that gumbo is soon to follow, but those combination of ingredients will not be cooked on the stove at home in the middle of summer. Those ingredients in that combination are no longer suitable because the weather does not permit it.
We must know that God wants us to grow and be better in all that we do. We must know that our Father is determined to mature and grow His body suitable for Him.
We must know that we are growing in things and that much of our focus has been detrimental to our spiritual growth. We cannot equate personal development to gospel truth. We must be concerned with maximizing our living, but we must truly be awakened to truly spiritual things. We are determined to increase our prayer life, praise, worship and study of the Word of God.
You are in a season that requires not idle living but active spiritual living. Are you active? Are you committed? Are you giving focus to your life? Are you giving life to what is no longer useful to this season? Are you allowing to die in this season which is meant to give your life?
Christ in you is the hope of Glory. All that you need and all that is necessary is found in Him. As you start your week let’s make sure we have cleaned out everything and prepare for a great season of new life and renewal.
I know that if you apply this word it will help you move your life to another level.
I am believing God for between now and the end of November for 50 parties who will faithfully sow $30.00 a month to help undergird the ministry. I pray that you will be one who will help us spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to our region and ultimately to the World.
