Claremont Knightline: No school on Monday

NO SCHOOL ON MONDAY DUE TO PG&E POWER SHUTOFF

Because of dangerous fire conditions, especially high gusty winds, on Saturday night the power went off across parts of Oakland and it is not expected to come back on until sometime Monday.

The bad news is our school currently does not have power and has been off since Saturday night.

PG&E notified us that the power won’t be back on until sometime Monday, at the earliest, therefore we cannot hold school.

So, tomorrow, Monday, October 28th, there is no school at Claremont Middle School.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but for the time being, we cannot hold classes and do all the other things we need to do without power at Claremont Middle School.

We expect the school to reopen on Tuesday, but we will send out a confirmation message by Monday evening.

If anything changes, we will let you know as soon as possible.
