New Night-time networking for Northwich.

A new evening networking event has been launched in Northwich town centre at the Barons Quay Development. Howard Worth Chartered Accountants has joined with Bathgate Business Finance to host the Social Business Networking event at Barons Quay Social.
The first event was held on Thursday 26th of September and generated an excellent number and variety of attendees. The idea behind the events is to bring together Northwich business owners and professionals at the end of a usual working day and highlight a fantastic venue in the town centre.
Dawn Beschorner, Director of Business Development and Client Services at Howard Worth was delighted with the first event. “As a business we believe in the value of networking and wanted to arrange an event that would offer local business people the opportunity to meet up out of office hours in a relaxed atmosphere at a venue that’s a bit different to the norm. Barons Quay Social was the obvious choice. It has free parking just a few minutes away and allows people working in the town centre to walk to the event from their workplace.”
Bathgate Business Development Manager, Chris McLoughlin commented “We were really happy to see so many people attend this event. The feedback we received on the night and in the following days was very positive. Everyone enjoyed the relaxed nature of the event and the venue, which many people hadn’t been to before. We are already looking forward to the next date”
Due to the success of the first event, Social Business Networking will be held every two months, the next date being Thursday 5th December. Places are limited at this free event.  – you can book via the below link or contact the marketing department at Howard Worth for further information on 01606 369000.

Krazy Races at Verdin Park, Northwich between 10am and 4pm on Sunday 14th June 2019

Northwich is going to get a little wackier as it welcomes a brand new event in the form of a SoapBox Derby.

This will be day of fun and laughter where crazy creations hurtle down a track which will consist of chicanes, obstacles, water features and more

Around 40-50 teams race on the day with the fastest team being crowned Northwich Krazy Races winner 2020.

This is a FREE event for all the family to enjoy so come along, pick your spot for viewing and join in the event in the park. Bring a picnic or sample of the delights that will be on offer on the day.

This event is being brought to you by Sarah Belcher Events in partnership with Northwich Town Council

This is our first year at Northwich and we are very excited to bring our brand of Krazy fun to the town, creating a great day out for all the teams, supporters and spectators in and around Verdin Park.

As one of our teams, you are integral to the day as you are ones who will bring the krazy! And don't forget, your soapbox will not only need to try and reach the finish line...we are looking for krazy designs and the hare-brained ideas resulting in the wackiest karts to be seen in Northwich!

Not in it to win it? That’s okay as it’s not all about being the fastest - we have prizes for showmanship, innovation and best dressed so bring the fun and you could still win a prize. Your soapbox is only half of the show as the team is a wacky extension of your Krazy Kart so you will need to wow us with a 20 second performance before you launch yourself downhill!

Introducing our most straight-forward, easy-to-follow fundraising event to date!

On Thursday 14th November 2019, we are staging our very first ‘Bring £1 to Work Day’, open to all businesses across Mid and South Cheshire.

It’s so easy to get involved – and it only costs £1. This is how it works:

1. Register your workplace

2. Ask all of your colleagues to bring in £1

3. On Thursday 14th November, we will collect your donations from your workplace

It really is that simple! Our dream is to get 100 local businesses on board, and by coming together you will be investing in the future of St Luke’s Hospice.

Whether you are in a team of 2, 20 or 200 – we would love you to be part of it.
