The most advanced automatic block scheduling logic that takes less than 3 seconds.

With the implementation of automatic filling of frames with a programmer, self-promotion, social announcements, or other types of blocks created by the user, it is necessary to systematize the logic of adding them. Please read the changes carefully.

Previous method:
- until now, microplanning has been carried out using the method of creating individual block types and supplementing them by dragging and dropping them into appropriate places.
New method:
- the new function optimises the working time needed to prepare a complete playlist to a few seconds.
- system independently calculates the necessary fill and completes the blocks on the basis of the previously entered rules assigned to individual blocks and clips contained in them.

The Promo and Commercials tab has been removed to be replaced with the Blocks & Clips section.
We start working with clips by creating thematic blocks, e.g. Social announcement, Broadcaster's announcement, Programmer, Informator. Created blocks become an integral part of predefined segmentation, ID section and Planner module, where the opening and closing jingles are automatically added.

Created blocks contain titles and titles contain clips. Example: A block named Autopromocja contains the title Megahity and a clip named Gra o tron in the title.

|
|
Click on '+' in the lower right corner of the Block & Clips section and select 'New title'. Enter a new title for the block, e.g. Megahity.
|
|
|
- Click on '+' in the lower right corner of the Block & Clips section and select 'New clip',
- Fill in the modal with the required data, specify the days and time period for which the clip should be broadcasted,
The above example illustrates:
The clip Gra o tron will be shown in the Autopromocja block from 01/10/2019 to 30/11/2019 from 22:00 to 06:00, on Saturdays and Sundays, not more than twice an hour.

4. Set specific blocks' limits
|
|
|
By right-clicking on a block type, you can set an hourly limit. By selecting '2 minutes', the system will create blocks and fill them according to the restrictions while automatically filling in the free slots. The red dial with the number indicates the restriction enabled and the number indicates the minute value.
The settings can be changed at any time, including each time the Auto fill function is selected.

We have also made it possible to change the colour for each block type. Just right-click on the block type and select the color that will be reflected in the Planner module.

5. Using the Auto fill function
|
|
|
To automatically fill the free spaces, right-click on the day of the week and select Auto fill.
|
|
|
|
In the Auto fill modal, select the blocks that should be used to fill the day. The system will select only those clips that correspond to the previously introduced rules and restrictions for the selected day.
|
|
|
- Clicking the Auto fill button will automatically fill the free slots with the selected blocks and clips, without repeating them one after the other and without affecting the commercial time previously allocated.
- The Re fill button will recalculate all blocks and fill them again.
- Clear blocks will remove all blocks created by Auto fill function.

|
|
The function allows you to select preferences for Auto fill.
- Fill out existing blocks - the system fills in existing blocks (placeholders created during the planning or predefined segmentation).
- Repeat clip in the same block - selecting this function will allow the system to repeat the same clip in the same block, but not earlier than after four playbacks.
- Join in progress clip - setting the JIP position in the attributes of the clip added in the ID section and enabling this function means that the system will add the JIP clip and loop it for no longer than 8 seconds. The clip will only be added if it is impossible to fill the day with clips from the Blocks & Clips section.
- Auto Adjust +/-10 sec allows you to shift macroblocks by +/- 10 seconds if you can't combine blocks with one frame accuracy. To avoid time shifting, the function is positive if the block start time is equal to the clock time, e.g. 17:00:00:00:00:00.

6. How to migrate the clips?
|
|
Recommendations:
- all clips created in the Blocks & Clips section will be stored in the \Clips directory, so we recommend copying the local content of the directories \Promotions and \Commercials to the \Clips directory and renaming the TRAFFIC ID generated for the new clips.
- the changes made are safe and have no impact on past or future events planned using the previous method,
- from October 30th, the previously added clips will be available in categories: Old Promo; Old Commercials; Old ID. It will no longer be possible to add new clips to these categories.

The new clip management will be implemented on October 30th between 23:00 and 23:30. The system is expected to be unavailable for 10 minutes. During this time it is recommended to log out of the system and clear the browser cache.
