Join The African & Caribbean Business Council of Greater Philadelphia (ACBC) for the highly anticipated, annual signature event: Business Forum Roundtable and Winter Awards Dinner.
This event is the celebration of three days of networking that includes the Prosper Africa Business Development Forum from November 7-8, 2019, (in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration and the Cote d’Ivoire Economic Promotion Service) and the ACBC Business Forum and Awards Dinner on November 9, 2019.
These events bring together all Federal, State and Local agencies that facilitate trade, finance and procurement with the continent of Africa in the following sectors: Health Care, Agriculture, Manufacturing, Education, Energy, and Infrastructure.
Business Forum Roundtable and Winter Awards Dinner Agenda:
- 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.: Business Forum (Free Event)
Ambassadors, businesses and the diaspora will discuss Project financing in Africa, Growing trade through logistics & transport and a featured Ambassador’s Panel.
- 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.: VIP Reception (VIP Invitation) to honor Councilwoman Jannie L. Blackwell
- 8:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.: Awards Dinner and Gala ($100/Ticket)
This is an evening of celebration as we recognize the City's best and brightest. Awards will be given in areas of Leadership, Innovation, Excellence, Community Service, Entrepreneurship and Person of The Year. Additionally, we will have a special recognition for councilwoman Jannie L Blackwell.
