U.S. Institute Against Human Trafficking Co-Founder Kevin Malone Appointed By President Donald J. Trump To Presidential Advisory Council To End Human Trafficking

Washington, DC - President Donald J. Trump today appointed Kevin Malone, President of the Board and Co-Founder of the U.S. Institute Against Human Trafficking, to the Public-Private Partnership Advisory Council to End Human Trafficking.

The Public-Private Partnership Advisory Council to End Human Trafficking Act was established as a result of the passage of the Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2017 to provide advice and recommendations to the President's Interagency Task Force to Monitor and Combat Trafficking. The Advisory Council brings together representatives from non-governmental organizations with proven results in anti-human trafficking efforts and victim services.

Kevin is the President of the Board and Co-Founder with Geoff Rogers of the United States Institute Against Human Trafficking (USIAHT), a ministry dedicated and committed to ending the atrocity of sex slavery of minors in American cities, communities, and neighborhoods, and which opened the first trafficked boy's safe home.

Retired from Major League Baseball in 2001 after a 17-year career that included being General Manager of the Montreal Expos, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Assistant General Manager of the Baltimore Orioles. Kevin is ever the competitor who has always focused on winning through his leadership and team-building skills believes that all people are called to seek justice, rescue the oppressed, and defend the orphan (trafficked children) - which is why he has committed his life to eradicating the sex trafficking of children through a proven, evidence-based approach that utilizes collaboration among experienced leaders, survivors, professionals, and service providers in all sectors of human trafficking to battle America's "slave problem."

Kevin and his wife Marilyn of 36 years have two children, Shannon and Shawn, and in February of 2018, relocated from Los Angeles to Las Vegas to fight child sex slavery.
