The Tulsa Black Wall Street massacre in the 'Watchmen' premiere was real. Here's what happened in the horrific event

In segregated America, Tulsa's Greenwood District [dubbed "Black Wall Street"] was home to black millionaires, a bevy of black business owners, doctors, pharmacists and even a pilot who owned his own private airplane.

Black Wall Street boasted more than 300 black-owned businesses, including two theaters.

Black success, Brown said, was the source of friction in the town because it "caused some envy and anger among white people who commented, 'How dare those negroes have a grand piano in their house, and I don't have a piano in my house'," she said.

A new partnership between NBA great Shaquille O’Neal and Miles College will help bring a Papa John’s Pizzeria to every Historically Black College and University Campus in the nation.

O’Neal and [Miles College President Bobbie] Knight plan to formally announce the HBCU initiative that will ultimately involve all HBCU’s at a noon press conference on the Campus of the Birmingham, Alabama school on October 26.

DaBaby uses his influence to help homeless mother’s small business

A homeless mother received cash and an unexpected increase in her business sales this weekend after meeting rapper DaBaby, born Jonathan Kirk.

DaBaby hosted a pop-up shop at clothing store Pure Atlanta in Lenox mall Thursday where he was seen giving the mother $1,000 in cash for the sale of her knit hats, according to The New York Post.
