AT THE ENCINO NEIGHBORHOOD COUNCIL
MEETING THIS WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 23 AT 6:30PM
The Encino Neighborhood Council is set to vote this Wednesday, October 23, to determine support for proposals by an Encino resident for changes to departure procedures at both VNY and BUR Airports. His proposals contradict the position of the City Attorney in his recent letters (see below) and threaten relief to our communities. He is trying to pass his plans through Encino Neighborhood Council so that he can speak at the Task Force -- he must not be given a platform! Don’t let him derail what we’ve all worked so hard to accomplish. Please show up to the Encino Neighborhood Council Meeting -- We are stronger together!

There are multiple waypoints in Studio City and Sherman Oaks and three highly concentrated flight paths that travel south of the 101 through the heart of our communities, as well as a "conventional" flight path that "heads for the hills" -- exactly as jets do now!
