TRIATHLON VICTORIA AGM
 
Triathlon Victoria's Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday 27, November 2019.

We encourage all affiliated clubs to use the AGM as an opportunity to engage with your association and address any matters that are of importance to you.

Four (4) vacancies are to be elected at the AGM. Nominations close on Wednesday, 13 November at midnight. A notice of the AGM has been sent to clubs. All information can be found on the Triathlon Victoria website.

2019 COACHING CONFERENCE

Victorian triathlon coaches will have the opportunity to learn from industry experts and broaden their knowledge at our 2019 Coaching Conference.

With a theme of ‘Changing Paradigms’, the Conference will see coaches come together with a range of experts and sports professionals to focus on how they can work to increase the effectiveness of their coaching.

TRY OUT TRIX3

The TRIX3 Indoor Triathlon Series aims to bring new people into the sport. 

With over 30 events scheduled across Australia and New Zealand during November and December, TRIX3 is the easiest way for someone to try their first triathlon using a pool swim, stationary bike, and treadmill. 

If you know someone who should give triathlon a go but are a little unsure of how and where to start, encourage them to try TRIX3.
IMPROVE YOUR PERFORMANCE WITH DAVEY BLACK
Specialising in training for triathlon and endurance sport, Davey Black Sports Performance offers Strength and Conditioning, Yoga, Recovery Boots and Physiotherapy to help athletes perform better. From November 1 to December 15, Davey Black are opening their Fitness Studio FREE and UNLIMITED to any Triathlon Victoria member to give you six weeks to improve your triathlon performance and help reduce your risk of injury. FALLS CREEK TRAINING CAMP

Ringwood Triathlon Club invites triathletes from other clubs to join our annual training camp. The program will cater to athletes at all levels from beginners to pros.

RACE 1 NEXT WEEKEND
Who's excited to kick off their summer of triathlon! We are, and can't wait to see all of you beautiful people at the start line.

Kicking off with Tri-Kids at 7am, then Fun-Tri at 7:25am and lastly, Sprint at 8:40am. What a way to spend the morning and then you have the rest of the day to brag about how you nailed a triathlon.

Also, don't forget the FREE tips and tricks clinic in the event village on Saturday 16 Nov - 12.30pm and 2.00pm. Registrations are required so click below to lock yourself in as places are limited.
 
BECKWORTH RACING
LORNE TRI CAMP
The annual Lorne Tri Camp, run by the Beckworth Racing Team, is set to get underway next month.  Open to all Triathlon Victoria members and the public, the camp is suitable for all levels. 

Participants can expect challenging training, knowledge building, and a rewarding learning experience. The weekend is a great way to meet new people who are passionate about the sport of triathlon.
The Beckworth Racing Team Lorne Tri Camp will be jam-packed with fun, training, learning and laughs. 
 
THE PROFESSIONALISATION OF WOMEN'S SPORT
Deakin University invites sport administrators, coaches and athletes to join Deakin Sport, the Centre for Sport Research and host Carol Fox, ambassador for the ICC T20 World Cup 2020 and President of Women Sport Australia, for a free public seminar focused on addressing the challenges and opportunities that increasing professionalisation of women's sport presents for sport organisations, clubs and athletes. Guest presenters and a discussion panel will share their unique insights and experiences. Tickets are available for purchase here.
