  • Making Every Contact Count online training
  • Using the Connected Kingston website to make a 'connection' or signpost a resident, student or colleague to a service
If you have achieved all three please email info@connectedkingston.uk so that we can invite you to a special awards ceremony on 4th December at the Mayor's Parlour- cake is included!

We know that many of you may have had issues with the online training, if you would like us to support you either by running a 30 minute session for your team or helping you to get onto the training platform please do email us.

Winter wellness
Are your clients ready for winter?

The cold and damp weather, ice, snow, and high winds can all aggravate existing health problems and make people more vulnerable to illnesses. Ensure that your clients receive the support they need this winter by:

Encouraging them to keep warm: Thinking Works offers a free service to support vulnerable residents in Kingston

Highlighting local pharmacy services: Local pharmacists can provide advice on medicines clients may need to stock up on to stay well over winter.

Promoting free flu vaccinations to eligible groups: Groups of residents, such as those over 65 and children aged between 2 and 3, that are at risk of developing serious complications from the flu are eligible for a free flu jab. Clients can find out more by visiting their local pharmacy.
