Never Retreat has a new publisher, Totally Bound Publishing in Great Britain. The publication date is October 20 in ebook form. The paperback is slated to be available in February. I’m grateful for the opportunity to breath new life into my fifth major work of fiction. The book, set primarily in the wild Colorado mountains, pits a feisty single mom with an ex-military, macho corporate star at a business retreat A huge prize tempts them, but only one can win. Add a threat to their survival, and the stage is set for adventure, attraction, and growth. I describe the writing as a new type of women’s fiction. Unafraid to debate contemporary concerns, it pulls no punches to provide a fresh look at age-old issues. This is your kind of writing if you think people are smarter than every phone, you’ll take a human any day over the most advanced app, and you can laugh at yourself as well as others. "Why I Continue to Write Despite the Bloody Forehead From Beating My Head Against a Brick Wall." I’ll be making a presentation on Monday, February 10 (coincidently, my birthday) on why I write, for the Feminist Lunch, an informal group that gathers quarterly to hear from their fellow professionals,.
