This past July and August the Library held several focus groups and opened an online customer feedback survey to ask Bowen Islanders how they felt about the library and its services.
What we learned:
- Bowen Islanders value the library highly
- Collections and programs are the most important features.
- Library programs are the highest priority use for the Annex
- The Annex is also valued as a great space for study, work, reading and community gathering
- The most frequently suggested improvement is to expand the collections.
- Other requested improvements are increased hours and expanded programming.
Many thanks to all who participated in these events. Feedback is highly valued and will inform our work and plans moving forward.
