What privilege must you surrender if you purchase

October newsletter 2019
We are so grateful to all of the support that sent our whole family to Thailand for a successful outreach in May. Your prayers and encouragement mean a lot to us.
Discipleship Training School (DTS)
Our next DTS will be held in from January to June and we have already accepted six students. As usual, Sean will teach for one week on Spiritual Warfare. Sean will to lead the Thailand portion of the outreach in May and will need to raise approximately $2,000 for that trip.
Our last DTS outreach visiting the Kumdees
Having a lifetime of success leading families on outreach, I have now created my own ministry focusing in on just that. If you would like to take your family on an international adventure, please contact me and I will craft an itinerary and lead you on an exciting, yet still safe, short term trip.

Discipleship Training Course (DTC)
In July, YWAM Tampa Bay offered a mission and arts training program with outreach for teenagers. With only 2 weeks of rehearsals, we crafted a fantastic production of “Judah Ben-Hur the Musical” which we performed at Cornerstone Church, Wesleyan Church, FEPC, and Live Oak Theater. The Gospel was shared in powerful story form.

Writers Conference
In September I attended the American Christian Fiction Writers Conference (ACFW ) and learned many aspects of writing, especially about self-publishing which I plan to continue doing. My heart is to reach the youth with stories that engage them and yet teach them Biblical principles at the same time. Christmas is coming. Are you ready?

Iron Men
I’ve been teaching a series on Spiritual Warfare at a Saturday morning men’s breakfast and the men expressed a lot of gratitude.

Calah to Orlando
My sisters’ family moved to Orlando and it has been fun helping them get settled. While visiting us in June their cat, Loki, ran away. Then last week, after 3 months of worry, Loki appeared and he is back at home, a little thin and battle worn. Thank God for another answered prayer!

New Home
Since 2011, Anne and I have been living in community at the YWAM Tampa Base. Managing the ministry in tight quarters has been fine, but we have long desired to have a place of our own. An anonymous donor is helping us build a beautiful new home across the street. We expect it to be completed by March 2020. This is such an overwhelming blessing. Now we will just need a few things to put in it to make it more functional. (Here is our Amazon wishlist.)

Trail Life
I brought my children to Trail Life and American Heritage Girls, because I wanted them to have the same amazing experiences in leadership learning that I did as a Boy Scout. After a year, the Mountain Lion troop leader took a job in another state and now I am suddenly the leader of 10 fun, yet unfocused boys. Pray I can keep them on track to learning new skills.
