Pumpkin Carving Collab Event:
Friendship (temporarily) ended with SFU Anime,
now UBC ESports is my best friend
This Friday, we'll be carving pumpkins with our friends over at UBC ESports Association! Collaborate with your gamer friends to make obscure references to shows and games alike, and carve some truly epic jack-o-lanterns! Around 20 pumpkins will be provided (around 1 pumpkin per 2 people), along with the proper implements. Be careful, and have fun!
Showings will continue as usual in A201, but the artist meetup will be cancelled. Go carve a pumpkin!

Halloween Social
The Halloween Social, our biggest event since icebreaker, is coming up this Sunday! Our devilish event will be chock full of villainous activities, such as Pin the Knife on the Protagonist, Evil Atom, Piñata Beating, and multiple Evil Eating Contests.
Cosplay Contest
We encourage aspiring felons to come in costume: a costume contest will be held, so dress to win! There will be three winnable categories with the following prizes:
- Best Craftsmanship: $25 Fabricland Gift Certificate + Teeny tiny chonky boi
- Audience’s choice: Chonky boi
- Judge’s choice: Chonky boi

For the milder of you, UAM (UBC Anime Music) will be performing live, and a dance will be hosted at the end, featuring Mikanmaru24 as DJ.

Update
Unfortunately, we'll be having to change our food outing location from Pepper Lunch to Denny's (explanation at the bottom of the post). If you are no longer able to make it due to the location change, please let an SFU or UBC anime exec know asap. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

While we were originally able to secure a reservation for 50 people at Pepper Lunch, they later decided that they would close the restaurant for us, although that would require our group to spend a minimum of about $20+ per person. Thus to avoid this situation, we decided to change our food outing location to Denny's.
