The Process
Over the course of about ten months, ECOC board members, along with the music directors and other advisors, researched the process of creating a vision, mission, and values. They brainstormed ideas, created lists, pondered some more, and surveyed the membership. The process picked up momentum this spring, when the whole group spent an entire board meeting sharing thoughts and narrowing the possibilities. Then a subcommittee took over to whittle down the ideas. In between family outings, yard work, hiking excursions, and other summertime activities, the group spent the month of June refining what have become the new Vision, Mission, and Values of the Evanston Civic Orchestra and Chorus. We are excited to share them with our members and the public at this time. Click to View Document
