Festival of Death and Dying in Glastonbury
This month we're at the Festival of Death and Dying in Glastonbury from 1 - 3 November. Samantha and I will be at the Red Brick Building all day Saturday, with other contributors, sharing what community grief tending rituals are. We were invited to have a 'stand' but we plan to create a little village, where people can sit and chat with us. And maybe even share some of their sorrows.
On Sunday 3 November, we're facilitating a community grief tending ritual. If you know anyone in the Glastonbury area, please feel free to invite them: https://www.facebook.com/events/743137469469217/.
Call out for testimonials
Often I'm asked what people can expect from a ritual and how they'll feel afterwards. I can only speak for my personal experiences, and as a space holder, they can sometimes be slightly different experiences from participants.
I would like to be able to share some quotes with people attending the Festival of Death and Dying, and perhaps on my website eventually, provided anonymously of course.
This might include your expectations, even fears beforehand, how it made you feel both during and after the ritual, and any thoughts on the overall impact of the work on your lives. If you'd like to provide a testimonial, please email me - gail@bigseeds.co.uk.
In gratitude and service,
Gail
