#GirlForce: #Unscripted and #Unstoppable

Message from the editorial team.

Welcome to the October 2019 Edition of the UYAHF Newsletter. We are excited to yet again share with you what we have been up to and what we managed to put our hands during the month October. Like other previous months, October too has been a busy one for us but we glad that we were able to do a lot as we strive to realize our goals.

We would also like to thank all of you who keep sharing with us feedback on how best we can improve as we endeavour to keep you updated on all our work.
Thank you, enjoy reading and do not hesitate to contact us on this
email.

On the International Day of the Girl 2019, we had a message for all girls.

On this year's International Day of the Girl, we stood with girls. We listened to them, amplified their voices and applauded them for their commitment and resilience to challenge gender stereotypes and break free from the traditional roles that society has dictated for generations.
Many girls today are saying no to child marriage, they are advocating for their right to stay in school and to live free from violence and harm and they are working to build more just, equitable and sustainable societies.

This means ensuring that they have the information and support they need to make a safe, healthy transition to adulthood. It means listening to their voices and respecting their rights and choices.
