Many Americans and especially climate protectors are starting to make the cause and effect connection of the corporate military-industrial complex to climate destruction. Billions of taxpayer money are being directed toward nuclear armaments that could instead be reallocated to climate protection, just transitions, and sustainable development goals rather than the threat of nuclear annihilation.
This live event in Taos will coincide with the international Count the Nuclear Weapons Money action centered in New York City. You can count for 30 minutes on video and then express in an interview or by writing in a big book how you think this massive amount of your tax dollars currently being invested in the world's ultimate weapons of mass destruction and genocide should be better spent for good!

Taos is a special historical community, a diverse, culturally rich area that continues to struggle with a difficult history of racial trauma. This legacy of hurt among the various ethnic and cultural groups here continues to hold back all of our communities. To learn more about how you can help to heal the racial divides with the Taos Healing and Reconciliation Project.
