Hello, friends! It's been a good season. I've been painting a lot and writing a lot and I've traveled a lot. With the exception of Albuquerque in November, I'm done with shows until March. And that will give me time to finish up some projects.

Last time I showed you this in-progress painting of a large fox. The first picture shows you where I was in August:

The second and third pictures are current. As you can see, I've made substantial progress. And by that I mean I've painted a lantern and two leaves and brightened the fox's forelegs.

Why haven't I painted more? I've been working on some commissions and a couple of book covers. Both books are due out next year, so I'll be able to show them to you then. But now that they're done, I'm going to get into this big one again and hopefully have it ready for New Mexico.
