Cape May, here we come!

We're just days away from our joint meeting with the Wilson Ornithological Society at the Grand Hotel of Cape May, NJ, 27-30 Oct 2019. Hosted by the Cape May Bird Observatory, the conference will offer an exciting scientific program and excellent opportunities for birding in this migration hotspot.

The schedule of oral presentations is now available on the conference website, here. A final program with abstracts will be available this coming Friday, October 25th. We also have numerous special events planned, including:

A workshop on social media for ornithologists
A workshop on molt and ageing of passerines by the North American Banding Council
An LGBTQIA+ & allies social
Multiple field trips, and
A tagging techniques and new technologies workshop by Cellular Tracking Technologies

NAOC 2020 Call for Proposals:

The next North American Ornithological Conference will take place in San Juan, Puerto Rico from August 10-15, 2020. #NAOC2020 is co-sponsored by AFO, the American Ornithological Society, the Wilson Ornithological Society, Birds Caribbean, the British Ornithological Union, CIPAMEX, the Neotropical Ornithological Society, the Society of Canadian Ornithologists, and the Waterbird Society, and is planned in conjunction with other societies across the Americas.

Conference organizers are now accepting proposals for workshops, symposia, and round tables. All proposals are due by December 1, 2019, at 11:59pm EST.
