Meet Our New Literacy Outreach Coordinator!!
Hello everyone. So excited to be coming out of retirement to be the new Literacy Outreach Coordinator for the Tri-Cities.Thirty-six years as a Social Worker for the Ministry of Children and Families has allowed me to meet many people in the Tr-Cities and as our family also lives in Coquitlam this position feels like coming home. I am looking forward to having a Little Free Library installed in the next few weeks and my husband is excited that my cache of children's books will be leaving the house. Some of you may know me as TCMG Fairy Grandmother Sue. The last year has afforded me the opportunity to meet many young families and arrive with cleaning supplies, books, and wand in hand. I look forward to meeting many of you out in the community. Feel free to reach out to me with questions or suggestions at tricitiesliteracy@gmail.com
Sue Whittemore.
