St. John's First Thanksgiving Day Potluck Fellowship Meal Brunch after 9am Thanksgiving Liturgy Thursday, November 28, 2019!
One of my favorite Thanksgiving traditions while I lived in San Francisco CA, was starting the day with Divine Liturgy and then partaking in a glorious Festal Thanksgiving feast after service with my Holy Trinity Cathedral parish family.
Afterwards, I would go home and help my parents/family prepare the afternoon Thanksgiving meal, Then later I would go to visit friends in the evening and celebrate some more.
What else do you expect, I am Orthodox , so I have to enjoy the Thanksgiving Feast Three times :-)!
Since we now have a full kitchen at St John's I would like to start the tradition with our St John's parish family. This year I will supply a succulent Organic Turkey. For those who would like to join my family and I in the fellowship hall after Thanksgiving Liturgy please bring your favorite Thanksgiving dish to share.

Save the Dates: Nov 2nd & 3rd 2019 The Primate of the Orthodox Church in America Metropolitan Tikhon will be with us in Arizona!
 Our entire parish family is invited to be with him for divine service at Ss. Peter Paul where Bishop Daniel is the rector. There will be NO services at St. Johns this weekend. (We will have Micah's mosaic workshop at St. John 11/2.)
