Like all sectors, charities are susceptible to fraud and can be seen as easy target for criminals. Fraud and cyber crime is on the rise, which is why it’s important for charities of all shapes, sizes and types to protect their income and assets by building strong defences. The Dundee Macmillan Improving the Cancer Journey is here to help anyone affected by cancer, including carers and loved ones of someone with cancer. To date, we've helped over 400 people and worked with them to resolve over 5000 of their concerns.

We are a free, appointment based service, which offers practical, personal and emotional support to people affected by cancer.  We can meet individuals  in their local community or at home – wherever they feel most comfortable.  We will chat about how they’re feeling, what they’re concerned about and the help they need.

As well as a listening ear, we can offer a wide range of support, tailored to individual needs.   This could be about money worries, getting around, how to manage tiredness and help at home.

We can also put people in touch with other specialist services, who can help them come to terms with their diagnosis and connect them with others affected by cancer.

We take self-referrals along with referrals from all statutory and voluntary sector organisations across the city.  All you need to do is contact us in one of the following ways:
