Happy Thanksgiving &
Happy 15th Anniversary to CISS!


Tim and I love that our company's anniversary is around Thanksgiving as both are reminders to pause and reflect on how grateful we are. Thank you for all you do to support our families with respite care, peer partner support and independent living services! Our organization is made up of some incredibly caring people including YOU who create positive change in others' lives daily. Our world is better because of you!

In celebration of the 15th Anniversary for CISS, all of our staff will be receiving company t-shirts in January, and all of our families and staff will be sent a wellness wall calendar in December. We hope you enjoy both!

November Reminders
  • Office Closed for Holidays - Our office will be closing today at 3pm and will also be closed on Thanksgiving day and Friday. We will re-open on Monday Dec. 2nd and Timesheets are due that day. Make yourself a reminder so you do not forget, or just send in your timesheet today if you are not working over Thanksgiving weekend.
     
  • Plan Ahead! - With various school breaks coming up, it is best to plan ahead. Talk to the families you support and encourage them to schedule soon.

**MONTHLY TRAINING**

Date: Wed. Dec. 4th, 6pm-8pm
Dinner served at 5:30pm for those who register. Seating limited to 40.

Topic: Lifespan Respite - Hormones & Puberty.
Are you supporting someone about to go through puberty, or someone in the midst of it? Be better prepared to meet the changing physical and emotional needs of those in your care.
