Dear Parents/Guardians,

Please continue to pray for our beloved St. Mary kindergartner Jaxon Hudson who is still in critical condition at Sparrow Hospital.  We've received an update that Jaxon is in ICU due to difficulty breathing.  They could not have the surgery that was anticipated yesterday at 3 pm due to other complications from allergies to penicillin and the infection following a burst appendix.   In a continued effort to get the infection under control tubes were inserted but complications with blockage were encountered.  We also were informed that a food train would not be immediately helpful due to the fact that the family is spending so much time at the hospital and not at home.  In lieu of a food train some parents felt that it would be helpful for the family if they had some additional spending money to pay for gas and meals.  Therefore, we have started an envelop in the school office to collect any donations that school and parish families would like to provide in support.  We will try to keep you updated on Jaxon's status and progress.  Yesterday, the school community assembled at Church to say a Divine Mercy Chaplet.  Thank you to Monika Landolt and Laura Hahnenberg who helped initiate and assist with this!  We will continue to be vigilant about praying for Jaxon and his recovery and are asking you to assist him with your families at prayer at home too.  It looks like Jaxon will be hospitalized for several weeks at a minimum.

Pax Christi,
Mr. Lomas
