2019-20 Calendar

November 13, 2019

Dear Students, Families, Alumni, Parishioners, and Friends of ASB School,

Today is World Kindness Day!  Our students were challenged this morning to show kindness in their actions and words to everyone they encountered today.  Thank you to all of you for your models of kindness, inclusion, and support of all in our community.

On Monday, we honored all of the men and women who have served and protected our country.  As we pray in gratitude for them, we especially pray for the veterans in our own families and community.  November is when we honor the saints and those who have gone before us, and celebrating our veterans at the same time is so fitting.

A few reminders for this week:
  • Cereal drive – Please help the first graders support St. Vincent de Paul’s food pantry by bringing in a box or two of cereal by Friday. Thank you for supporting those in need!

  • Online auction – The online auction is live!  Check it out here. There are so many great items for Christmas gifts, date nights, birthdays, and more.

  • Auction tickets – TODAY is the last day to buy tickets to the auction! Get yours here!

  • Class projects – Tomorrow is the deadline for class projects.  Don’t miss your chance to get a great cookbook, beautiful rosary, engraved wine glasses, 8th grade photo book, and more.  Check them out here!

Articles worth the read:
Have a great rest of the week and relaxing weekend.  Join us this weekend as 5th grade leads mass – 8:30 at Assumption and 9:30 at St. Bridget.  Look forward to seeing you there!

Best,
Kathleen Conklin
