Hot Chocolate Friday – Nov. 8
Hot Chocolate Fridays are back!!

During Friday’s 10:15 break, PTA will serve our students hot chocolate for 1€ per cup.
We will have 2 serving stations: one in front of the Primary school building and one for Secondary in front of the administration building.

All helpers meet at 9:00 (immediately following drop off) near the gate, so we can all go into school together to set everything up.
It usually takes about 10 minutes, so we have time for a quick coffee at L’Olivier across the street and be back at school by 10:00 to serve the Hot Chocolate. From 10:15 to 10:30... MAD RUSH serving 400 students!!! Then a quick clean up and we are out of school by 10:45.
Please get in touch with us if you could spare some time on Friday mornings to help us, we would really appreciate your help!

ENGLISH– Every Thursday from 9:00am to 11:00am, Clémentine and Aidan take turns in hosting an informal gathering of parents at La Lune de Mougins, 1082 avenue Général de Gaulle, Mougins, to have fun conversations in French or English to improve a second language.
FRANÇAIS– Tous les jeudis de 9 h à 11 h, Clémentine et Aidan accueillent à tour de rôle des groupes de parents qui souhaitent converser en français ou en anglais afin de perfectionner une langue seconde. Cette activité a lieu à La Lune de Mougins, 1082 avenue Général de Gaulle à Mougins.

Coffee Morning - Tuesday, Nov. 19

The PTA would like to invite you to our next Coffee Morning on Tuesday 19 November 9am at the Hotel de Mougins, 205, avenue du Golf - 06250 Mougins.
Cost is 5 Euros per person, which includes coffee or tea and Viennoiseries - to be paid at the event on arrival.
PTA coffee mornings are a perfect opportunity to meet other school parents and share information, ideas and experiences in our community.

Ladies’ Time-Out – Friday, Nov. 22

On November 22nd, we’re going to visit the prestigious Marché Forville in Cannes. There’s so much to see and taste! Bring your grocery bags if you’d like to buy something to share with your loved ones at home.
Clémentine is planning to meet everyone in front of the primary gate after drop off. Carpooling is a very good option.
After enjoying the flavours of the market, Clementine is suggesting to have lunch at Astoux restaurant, a hot fish and sea food place near the market. Please email Clémentine ladiestimeout@mougins-school-pta.com to confirm your place for lunch.

Primary Winter Market - Dec.11

Every year, the PTA organises a Winter Market for the Primary students. It gives our children the opportunity to buy presents themselves for their mums, dads, brothers, sisters, grandparents and even their dog! We wrap the presents for them to put under the Christmas tree at home to surprise you all during the festive season.
The Primary School Winter Market has grown over the years and it has brought a lot of joy to younger members of our community. This year it will take place on Friday, December 11.
However, we can't do this without a little help from you… We are asking you to have a look around your home to see if there is anything that you no longer have any use for, something that we could sell at the Primary Christmas Market. For example, books, DVDs, cosmetics, bags, jewellery, soaps, picture frames, ties, scarves, toys … We are looking for “gifts” for young and old… for grandparents, parents, brothers and sisters. Anything that you could find and donate would be greatly appreciated. It's not possible to hold a Winter Market if there are not enough items to sell – there would be just too many disappointed children! There are two boxes in Elisabeth’s office just waiting for your kind donations.
We would like to thank you in advance for your time and your kind generosity. Thank you for helping us to keep this wonderful school tradition alive.

We really could use your help on the day (fancy being a gift wrapper, elf helper or a personal shopper?) as well as the day before to label and price the gifts and setting everything up ready for the children to do their shopping.

Our carpool coordinator has now put in contact families from Roquefort-les-Pins, Cannes and Valbonne. There are also families in Saint-Paul-de-Vence, Le Rouret, Montauroux and Le Cannet interested in carpooling.
Please reply to carpool.mougins.school@gmail.com indicating in the email subject the town you live in (example: Valbonne, Mougins, etc). In the body of the email please provide additional information, such as the form your child is in, and perhaps, for larger towns, your neighbourhood or street name. The PTA team will collect this information and then share it only among the parents living in the same town. For example, if you live in Cannes you will receive an email with the list of all other Mougins School families who live in Cannes and are interested in carpooling.
