From our Pastors...
Please continue to be praying for Michael, Karis, Evan and William as they come to terms with the loss of Lisa, last week. Please also pray for Nick and Chris as they support the wider family.

We know that death does not have the final say and that even though it is a hideous enemy, it is a defeated one and that Jesus has had the final victory. See 1 Corinthians 15. This Sunday, Nick will be speaking on how we deal with the disappointment of unanswered prayer.

This is also a time when church comes together to support one another in our grief, disappointment and questions. Support (in terms of meals) for Michael and the children is being led by the family at this time. A funeral/thanksgiving service for Lisa is planned for next Friday afternoon (15th November) at 1:30pm should you wish to attend. Details below

In other news...
A service of thanksgiving for Lisa Ward will be next Friday (15th Nov) starting at 1:30pm at Alderman's Green Methodist Church, followed by the committal for family and close friends at Canley Crematorium at 3pm.

There will be tea and cakes served at the Methodist Church from around 4pm.

Please continue to pray for Michael, Karis, Evan and William.
This Sunday, 10th November, churches from across Coventry will gather to pray for our nation in the build up to the general election. To call out to God for our nation at a time of great change and confusion.
Places are already filling up! In fact, we are nearly half full already (the vast majority of whom are not from Coventry Vineyard!!!). Places are limited and it is unlikely that if you simply turn up you will be guaranteed a place. Therefore please sign up for a free ticket here.
At our Family Nativity Service there will, of course, be a Christmas jumper competition! Prizes for best Child and best Adult jumpers!
